Alex grew up in Wichita, Kansas playing drums, working at his family's farm store, and reviving old muscle cars with his dad. He married his high school sweetheart, Krystin, and together they have 2 beautiful children named Nora and Axel. Alex gave his life fully to Jesus at age 20 and has been dedicated to helping others find the same hope ever since.
Wendy Carpenter Worship pastorWendy is a life-long resident of Independence and Blue Springs, MO. She is married to her favorite guitar player, Kevin, with two adult children, Cady and Logan. After giving her life to Christ almost 20 years ago, she has a hunger for God’s word and feels that God speaks passionately to her through worship. She has a deep desire to lead others into the same experience.

Carrie and her husband, Todd moved from Joplin, MO to Independence in June 2015. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Not growing up in a Christian home, Carrie has a deep desire to plant eternal seeds of truth in the hearts of children because they are the future. She wants to help others have a relationship with Christ and not just believe!
